Rolando is a lecturer in Sociophonetics at Victoria University of Wellington, where he works in the Linguistics and the Statistics departments. He recently finished his PhD in Linguistics at the University of Arizona, and he has over 7 years of experience working with language revitalization and technology with communities in Arizona, Mexico, Bolivia and Costa Rica.
